The Mobility Division works with metropolitan planning organization (MPOs), the Texas Department of Transportation, cities, counties, and transit agencies in Texas and other states with regions in non-attainment and near non-attainment status for air quality. TTI researchers provide guidance to agencies on incorporating Federal and State air quality regulations into their planning process, including conformity analysis, the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program, and other projects and programs developed to reduce transportation emissions. This group can deliver high quality, detailed training and workshops to agency staff, policy boards, and elected officials in order to provide clear understanding of the entire range of transportation and air quality issues.
